Second Edition of El Alamein International Airshow and Space Conference 2026 Launches Next September with Wide International Participation

The new city of El Alamein is preparing to host the second edition of the El Alamein International Airshow and Space Conference «EIAS 2026» during next September, in a global event that strengthens Egypt’s position as a regional hub for aviation and aerospace industry in the Middle East and Africa.

Armed Forces Announce Details of El Alamein Airshow and Space Conference 2026

As part of the Egyptian Armed Forces’ efforts to support and organize major international events, the Armed Forces held an official ceremony to announce the details of the second edition of the El Alamein International Airshow and Space Conference «EIAS 2026».

The event was attended by Lieutenant General Amr Sakr, Commander of the Air Force; Dr. Sameh El-Hefny, Minister of Civil Aviation; Dr. Engineer Majid Ismail, CEO of the Egyptian Space Agency; along with a number of Armed Forces leaders, military and commercial attachés accredited in Egypt, as well as representatives of major international aviation companies and specialists in aviation and aerospace fields.

El Alamein Airshow and Space Conference: Gateway for Africa and the Middle East to Modern Technology

The Chairman of the Organising Committee affirmed that the Armed Forces are keen to present the event in a distinguished manner that reflects Egypt’s international standing and its ability to organize major global events. He pointed out that the Airshow and Space Conference in El Alamein has become one of the most prominent specialized events in the aviation and aerospace sector across Africa and the Middle East.

He explained that the exhibition aims to enhance international cooperation and exchange of expertise among participating companies and institutions, in addition to showcasing the latest innovations and modern technologies in the fields of aviation and space technology, especially given the rapid developments the sector is witnessing globally.

Participation of More Than 250 Exhibitors from 50 Countries

The ceremony included a presentation and documentary film that reviewed the most prominent achievements of the first edition of the exhibition, which witnessed wide participation from major international companies and institutions operating in aviation and aerospace.

The new edition of the exhibition is expected to see the participation of more than 250 exhibitors representing about 50 countries from around the world, along with the organization of more than 50 air shows, and the participation of over 100 aircraft of various models.

The event is also expected to attract approximately 12,000 visitors from specialists and enthusiasts in the aviation and aerospace sectors, in addition to official delegations from many countries around the world.
